Mark is certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Associate Member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants as well as the Animal Behavior College. He is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and has been a volunteer Dog Companion at the Brooklyn Animal Care & Control Center. He is also an AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Mark is certified by the City of New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, he is also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. He has many years of experience working with all types, ages, breeds, and mixes of dogs. He is particularly skilled at dealing with rescue and adopted dogs.
Mark's approach is based on the latest research and uses non-violent rewards-based training methods. His niche specialty is dealing with difficult cases that other trainers may not want to work with. Mark is very familiar with issues specific to rescue animals - all of his own dogs (and other critters) are rescues.
